DAY 1: DAY 1: CUSCO - CAPULIYOQ - PLAYA ROSALINA

After a good breakfast accompanied by a coca tea, day 1 begins at 5:30 am with a luxurious welcome, we will pick you up to transfer you to the Capuliyoc viewpoint (Kapuliyoc) in a journey of approximately 4 hours (it takes a backpack with only the essentials).

From this point, you will be able to see the most picturesque towns, the majestic Padreyoc mountain (5571 meters) and its snow-capped peaks, as well as the archaeological complex of Choquequirao and the canyon bathed by the Apurímac River.

Once the stay in Capuliyoc is over, we will set off towards Chikisca, a charming wooded town 3 hours away, where we will take a well-deserved break for lunch.

And with our energies repowered, we will walk for at least 2 more hours, until we go down to Playa Rosalina, where we will have a light dinner and prepare to camp on night 1, surrounded by the stars.

DAY 2: DAY 2: PLAYA ROSALINA - MARAMPATA

On this second day, you will feel closer to your desired destination. So after breakfast, we just have to take our backpacks and prepare our feet to continue the trail, which will take us to cross the bridge that connects the camp of Playa Rosalinas, with the road to the humble but beautiful village of Marampata.
The journey will take us about 4 hours, through the lush forest flanked by various refreshing streams. Upon arrival at Marampata, we will stop for lunch, and have a free afternoon where you can relax to visit the next day’s ruins of Choquequirao, in the evening you will have tea and then dinner.

DAY 3: DAY 3: MARAMPATA - CHOQUEQUIRAO - MARAMPATA

Sure you had a comforting night, but wake up! It’s the 3rd and with it comes the promise of having the most incredible day of your life. So get ready because it is time to head towards the magnificent Choquequirao.

With breakfast ready, we propose to make the triumphant entrance to the archaeological ruins. There, while you take each step, the authentic beauty of the palaces and temples prevails before you while you absorb through your pores the cultural and historical wealth that each of these ancient corners contains.

The Choquequirao archaeological complex is immense, even tripling the dimensions of Machu Picchu, and on various occasions, more unexplored spaces have been found through the jungle. That is why the best way to enjoy it is through private guided tours since they show you the most interesting parts of the place in detail.

Although it hurts us to leave, the fourth day arrived to start the farewell. Therefore, we start our walk to Playa Rosalina early.
