Manu Amazon Rainforest Tour 4 Days
Overview
One of the things that makes almost all of South America shine is, without a doubt, its vast expanses of forests and jungles full of infinite greenery. For this reason, the Manu National Park was declared by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage, with the intention of preserving its extensive biodiversity considered the largest in the world.
It covers an area of approximately 1.9 million hectares, which occupies a good part between the departments of Madre de Dios and Cusco; Therefore, in all its extensions, it is possible to find high punas at an altitude of 4,000 meters, valleys, ravines, forested mountains such as the cloud forest in the high jungle and the tropical humid forest or low jungle, until reaching the plain. Amazonian.
Likewise, in the most remote places of this fascinating natural refuge, a significant number of indigenous tribes remain settled, They have lived within these territories since time immemorial, managing to preserve their traditions and lifestyle without contact with the outside world.
Another of the outstanding qualities of the Manu National Park is that it is divided into three important zones, which allows it to better manage its conservation.
Notable among them is the <core zone> intended solely for scientific activities such as biological and anthropological research. The <reserved zone> facilitates tourism activities (controlled) and the <cultural zone> is occupied by the settlers, who develop agriculture, livestock, and forestry activities.
In all of them, it is possible to appreciate the enormous natural and landscape wealth; so, without a doubt, it is a spectacular scenario that offers a wide range of ecosystems and most of these still remain without human intervention; It is for this reason that it is considered the only jungle in the world that remains intact.
As you can see, the Manu National Park is an authentic unexplored jewel, so we invite you to be part of the exclusive 4-day tour of the Manu jungle and let yourself be enveloped by the magic of this exuberant territory!
